Kentucky High School Rodeo at WKU AG Expo Center

The event began Saturday with participants from all across the state and finished up with the finals Sunday. The events included barrel racing, team roping, and an event that many are not all too familiar with, goat tying.

"We'll it's where you ride your horse down to the end of the arena, you have to jump off and go get a goat. Then you have to tie together three legs and it has to stay there for six seconds for it to count." said Kalyn Tapp who participated in multiple events.

Many of the riders say they go to g centers all over the state to compete, but the WKU Ag Expo Center is their favorite place to ride. is happy to provide a forum for commenting and discussion. Please respect and abide by the house rules:
