Political leaders from Kentucky remembered September 11th in Washington D.C.
Congressman Brett Guthrie attended a remembrance ceremony on the east front steps of the U.S. Capital building.
Guthrie said, "We are a grateful nation knowing the mastermind of the terrorist attacks can no longer cause harm."
U.S. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell was also at the same ceremony and said, "In remembering those we lost on 9/11, we testify to our shared belief that each and every one of them was irreplaceable."
