Kentucky Supreme Court Suspends Bowling Green Attorney

Kentucky Supreme Court orders Bowling Green attorney Steve Thornton suspended for professional misconduct.

The Kentucky Supreme Court has ordered Bowling Green attorney Steve Thornton to be suspended from practicing law for six months for professional misconduct.

The high court found Thornton guilty of eleven violations, involving three of his clients.

The violations include failing to provide two of his clients with competent representation, failing to charge two clients reasonable fees, and failing to respond to a lawful demand for information from a disciplinary authority.

In addition to his suspension, Thornton is ordered to pay restitution to his clients of more than $7,338.00.
