Kingsford Manufacturing Plant Catches Fire

The Kingsford Manufacturing Plant in Summer Shade caught fire early Sunday morning.

Representatives from the plant say, the fire started around two-thirty in warehouse B.

The cause of the fire is unknown and is under investigation.

Terry Swindel, with Kingsford, says it was a medium size fire and he estimates the damages were close to 50,000 dollars.

He says fortunately, no one was hurt in the fire.

The plant produces charcoal out of Summer Shade and has about 90 full time employees.
