LA GRANGE, Ky. (AP) -- Voters in La Grange, a city just north of Louisville, have voted to expand alcohol sales.
By a margin of more than 2-to-1, residents approved the measure that allows alcohol to be sold at all restaurants, in bars and at package liquor stores. The Courier-Journal (http://cjky.it/STJA7V) reports the vote tally on Tuesday came in at 751 supporting sales and 338 against them.
Under the current law, only certain restaurants could serve liquor.
