An early morning accident on I65 just north of exit 48 at Park City left Kenneth Bohannon, 51of Hazlehurst, GA injured, and parts of both the north and south bound lanes covered in debris.

Around 5:30a.m. Monday, a tractor trailer driven by Bohannon, and carrying lumber wrecked in the north bound lanes, spilling pieces of lumber across the median and into the south bound lanes.

Two south bound lanes and one north bound lane were closed while crews worked to clean up debris and lumber.

Kentucky State Police say Mr. Bohannon attempted an evasive maneuver to avoid striking the sign and lost control of his truck causing him to strike the concrete barrier wall. He was transported to T.J. Samson Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

All lanes are now open.
