Valentine's Day is just a day away, and many across our area were very busy Wednesday.
Places like Mackenzie's have been preparing several arrangements for people.
They said they've sold thousands of roses and several hundred bouquets, and business is way up from last year with a lot of people pushing it to the wire.
"It's been amazing really. We did not expect a large increase this year. We thought we would be static with the same sales as last year. We've had a significant increase, and most of our customers are last minute," said Roiann Ridley, Owner Mackenzie's.
Other places like Kroger had people getting flowers as well, but many people also trying to get that special someone a card.
Many places expect to continue to be busy on Valentine's Day as well.
