BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) Saturday was the last Second Saturday Street Fair at Fountain Square Park in Bowling Green for the year.
From live music to sidewalk sales to food and activities for kids, people were enjoying a beautiful day downtown.
Like the festivals started on April 13,"Cruisin' for a Cure" -- which helps those with diabetes -- was there to end it.
"This summer we joined with Second Saturdays down here, to bring our car show downtown, and to bring more crowd and have bigger crowd down here. And to raise money for us, and also help the downtown merchants and the downtown of Bowling Green. And show people what the different stores are around here and get more traffic in this area, which a lot of people have not been down here in years, and they come down here and they're amazed at how much the downtown has grown and they love it," said Kevin Kirby, with "Cruisin' for a Cure."
Kirby said he's noticed the event growing continuously.
