LEXINGTON, KY. (AP) -- Lexington police have arrested a man for allegedly assaulting and raping the mother of his daughter.
Court documents obtained by WLEX-TV show 28-year-old Dustin Carriere kicked in the door of the victim's home on Wednesday, then punched her in the face and choked her until she passed out. Police say he raped her when she regained consciousness.
When his 10-year-old daughter came home from school, Carriere reportedly forced the woman and the child to drive to a nearby bank and withdraw $100.
Police say he also took money from the woman's purse.
Carriere is charged with kidnapping, rape, robbery, burglary, sodomy and assault.
