"Oh yeah, huge rush!  Usually starts about lunch hour New Years Eve and it just continues all the way through the night."

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- Liquor stores have stocked up for the New Year.

Places like Shenanigans say they have over stocked and over staffed their store to get prepared for the New Years festivities.
The general manager says he's already seen a huge rush of people trying to get stocked for their evening celebrations.

"Oh yeah, huge rush! Usually starts about lunch hour New Years Eve and it just continues all the way through the night," said Michael Hager the General Manager of Shenanigans.

New Years Eve is one of the busiest days of the year for liquor stores.
And they usually spend New Years Day taking inventory after everything had been cleared out the night before.
