Local Airport Recieve Grant

A local airport is one of nine airports across the state to receive a grant from the federal aviation administration.

Governor Steve Beshear announced the two-million dollar grant will improve runways, taxiways, and runway lighting.

Glasgow Municipal Airport will receive nearly 300,000 dollars of the grant.

Overall, Beshear says the money will help keep the state's airports safe.
