You might be surprised to know that tucked away in the back of a Warren County neighborhood is an alpaca farm.

Alive N' Fuzzy Alpacas Farm is participating in the National Alpaca Farm days this weekend.

Today at the farm, there were tours to learn about the animals, spinning demonstration to see how crafts are made using the fur, and even the opportunity to buy an alpaca.

"They're a very friendly, easy-to-keep animal. They have some of the richest fiber in the world -- it's extremely soft. And they are somewhat of an exotic animal," said the owner of the farm, Elaine Painter.

She said if you'd like to visit the farm tomorrow, just call ahead to set up an appointment at (606) 633-8774.
