Local Gun Stores Want More Gun Legislation

Posted: Mon 5:10 PM, Dec 24, 2012

After another terrible shooting Monday morning outside Rochester, New York there continues to be a heated debate about gun control.

Local gun shop's like Guns N' More in Bowling Green have seen an increase in sales over the last week.

They say it is in reaction to fear that many guns or ammunition will be taken off store shelves.

Owner Claudis Walker says he isn't too concerned about guns being taken away but agrees more legislation needs to be done.

"There will be some weapons they will probably put a ban on or may even quit manufacturing, who knows, and different types of ammo. I think they are going to do some legislation. It's just too much. Too many mass murders and stuff now and too much violence," says Walker.

While Walker agrees with more legislation he doesn't think it will have a negative impact on business.
