WKU graduate Claire Donohue has made a name for herself at the 2012 London Olympics.
And now, some local swimmers are giving her the respect she's earned.
The Southern Kentucky Swim Team trained with her during the mornings this summer.
"We were in the middle of the meet and Claire was about to race so we went up to watch her," says 14-year-old Paige Fields who swims on the team.
"All my kids have been really excited that swim for me. Being two lanes over and watching her train all summer and actually seeing her on TV and performing as well as she has done. It's been great for our kids," says Southern Kentucky Swim Team Coach, Dee Wilkins.
Claire is expected to race in the prelimnary round for the 4x100 relay Friday giving her the chance at a medal.
