Days before the big game, Super Bowl fever is taking over sports bars and restaurants in Bowling Green.

"It is the culmination and end of the football season," says Double Dogs Manager Chad Dennison.

"It's a big game," added Joe Buttrem, a customer at Double Dogs.

Double dogs, Buffalo Wild Wings and Smokey Bones along Scottsville Road are making some last minute preparations for the biggest football game of the year, Super Bowl 46.

"Our preparations for the Super Bowl take places weeks and weeks in advance," says Buffalo Wild Wings Manager Ashley Vanober.

A rematch from Super Bowl 42, the New England Patriots and New York Giants will face off in Indianapolis.

Restaurant managers are doing everything they can to be prepared, by having a full staff and doubling the number of products on hand.

"We typically fill pretty quickly because as I said so many people try to get here early to ensure that they do have a seat for the game," says Dennison.

Managers also catering for parties and offering giveaways like free drinks and shirts.

"We'll have a lot of orders and a lot of people call in on Sunday with to go orders," added Smokey Bones Manager Ashley Boyd.

Customers too are getting ready for some football.

"We just enjoy all getting together and having drinks and appetizers and enjoying the day," says Buffalo Wild Wings customer Kim Parker.

"Just have plenty to eat and plenty to drink, and just waiting for the commercials," added Double Dogs customer David Manning.

Millions of other viewers are also expected to be glued to their TV screens when the Giants take on the Patriots this Sunday.

It kicks off at 5:30 p.m. (Central).
