BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- Sunday was all about sunshine and warmer temperatures -- a big difference from Saturday's snow.

Folks were out at Keriakes Park on Sunday walking, running and playing basketball -- enjoying the break from extremely cold weather.

They were happy to wear shorts and get outside for workouts in the middle of winter.

One person said while he was enjoying the warm weather, he's glad there's more winter left.

"Well, I'm kind of a fan of cold weather. I don't know why, I just like it a little bit better than being hot -- kind of hot-blooded I'd say, and I like snow," said Myles Lamer, who was at the park.

Another extreme cool down is expected this week.
