Long-Time Deputy Coroner of Warren County Loses Battle To Cancer

WARREN COUNTY, Ky. (WBKO) -- A long time deputy coroner in Warren county has died.

69-year-old Harold Sanson Jr. died Saturday afternoon surrounded by his family.

He lost his battle with cancer.

He was a licensed funeral director for J.C. Kirby and Son Funeral Chapels, and he served as Warren County deputy coroner since 1984.

Those who worked with him say he was an avid WKU basketball fan.

Visitation will be Monday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Tuesday after 10 a.m. at J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel.
