A Bowling Green pizza restaurant has been named as a finalist in the Kentucky Restaurant Association's "Restaurateur of the Year."
Lost River Pizza is one of five restaurants that could receive the award.
The award goes to the restaurant that best satisfies customers and embraces the community.
Owner Keith Coffman says he never expected to be a finalist for such a prestigious award since he's only been in business for a little more than a year.
"We were really really honored to be nominated for it much less be named a finalist. We really didn't have much expectations when they told us we were being nominated for this award and we're down to one of the top 5 finalists. It's just a real honor and you know it's great to be given that kind of recognition," Coffman says.
The award will be presented tonight at the Brown Hotel in Louisville
