RICHMOND, Ky. (AP) -- Authorities are searching for a Madison County woman who failed to return to jail from a furlough.
According WKYT-TV (http://bit.ly/1qQRLm0), 38-year-old Flora J. Carrier, of Richmond, was granted a medical furlough from the Madison County Detention Center Friday morning and was to report back after the appointment.
Detention center employees contacted Kentucky State Police Saturday morning to inform them Carrier hadn't returned.
She was being held on charges for theft by deception, including cold checks.
Since 2011, officials say Carrier has been booked 11 times in the detention center.
