Man Charged With Four-Year-Old's Murder

A man in Ohio County has been charged with the murder of a four-year-old child.

25-year-old Nathaniel Tucker, of Hartford was arrested Monday afternoon after police say he severely beat three young children.

It happened on Saturday, police say Tucker was watching 23-year-old Samantha Oakley's three, four and five-year-old children at their home in Hartford.

The three and five-year-old suffered injuries ranging from bruises to a spinal fracture of the tibia.

The four-year-old was transported to the Cincinnati Children's Hospital in Ohio.

Monday, the child was removed from life support and died at about 9 that night.

Police say Oakley may have known of the abuse and failed to properly report it.

She is being charged with criminal abuse.
