Man Dies from Heat, Father Died from Cold

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) -- A Kentucky man whose father died from cold weather last winter has died because of heat.

William David Keeling collapsed while mowing grass in Garrard County. The coroner said hot weather on July 18 aggravated Keeling's heart condition, contributing to his death.

Keeling's brother, Cecil Keeling, said the victim pushed himself too much, instead of coming home and resting.

The brothers' father, 82-year-old Curtis Keeling, died of hypothermia in January when his car became stuck in mud and he tried to walk to safety in Mercer County.
