Bowling Green police had crews searching for a man they fear may be trapped in Barren River early this morning.
It all started when a Bowling Green Police Officer spotted a man walking naked by the river near the River Walk Bridge between Louisville and Old Louisville roads.
Police say the officer saw the man jump in the river and swim to a bank on the other side. That was when they lost sight of the man. After searching for about two hours, at around 6 a.m., they found the man safe in a wooded area near the river. Police are not releasing his identity at this time.
