LIBERTY, Ky. (AP) -- A central Kentucky man has been charged with 10 counts of first degree rape and 20 counts of first degree sodomy of someone incapable of consent.

Kentucky State Police say 62-yearold Michael E. Burt of Liberty had sex with an intellectually disabled woman at a group home between June 2011 and May 2012.

Galilean Children's Home founder and director Jerry Tucker told The Advocate-Messenger (http://bit.ly/KjFVKb ) the woman involved is now in her 30s, but has an intellectual capacity similar to that of a 7-year-old.

Tucker said Burt worked at the home for 22 years until he was fired last month for making inappropriate comments to residents.

Burt is being held at the Casey County Detention Center on a $100,000 cash bond. Jail records did not list an attorney for Burt.
