"I guess third time is a charm. I'm not the most coordinated person in the world so I have learned how to do it, but it's rough, but it's definitely worth it. I wouldn't do it year after year if it wasn't worth it," says walker Chris Hancock.

The saying "Walk A Mile In Her Shoes" came to life Wednesday at Western Kentucky University.

Dozens of men strapped on bright red high heeled shoes for a walk around campus. Some struggled as they approached the top of the WKU hill. The walk is a way to increase awareness against sexual violence.

Those who took to the hill in heels say the pain is worth the gain.

"I guess third time is a charm. I'm not the most coordinated person in the world so I have learned how to do it, but it's rough, but it's definitely worth it. I wouldn't do it year after year if it wasn't worth it," says walker Chris Hancock.

$2,000 was raised from Wednesday's walk and presented to Hope Harbor.

Walk A Mile In Her Shoes is part of Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
