Mini-Corvette Challenge Raises Money for Good Cause

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) The 20th Annual Junior Achievement Mini-Corvette Challenge took place at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green on Saturday.

It was a race for a good cause.

"The main thing was Junior Achievement, just being out and then just seeing the kids that you support and come out and them supporting and cheering you on as well, because you've impacted their lives in so many different ways -- showing up in their class rooms, teaching them things about finical aid and education and different things like that," said John Smith from US Bank.

Our very own Jeff Woods and Shane Holinde rekindled their spirited partnership to run in this years' race.

Though they may not have won the gold cup, that title went to Hill's Pet Nutrition."

The WBKO team won best driver uniform.
