Monroe County High School ranked as one of the top 10 schools in Kentucky for the Averaged Freshman Graduation Rate (AFGR) for the 2010-2011 school year.
AFGR is calculated based on whether students who begin their freshman year of high school, and graduate withing eight semesters.
Kentucky Commissioner of Education Dr. Terry Holliday announced the rankings, and 230 high schools were listed on the accountability rosters.
