Monroe County Water Shortage Advisory

The Monroe County Water District has issued a local water shortage advisory.

There's an immediate need for Monroe County residents to begin conservation measures.

Consumers can cut water use by 15% with efforts that cause very little discomfort and difficulty.

Some conservation tips are take shorter showers, check plumbing for leaks and repair them, only wash full loads of clothing, keep and reuse bottled water in refrigerator, and turn off hoses and sprinklers in yards.
