More Counties to Offer New Driver's Licenses

By Trent Brock |

More area counties are planning to install software to offer new driver's licenses to Kentucky residents.

The new license offers multiple security features to prevent counterfeiting.

The installation will require a one-day suspension of license-issuing activity in at the County Circuit Court Clerk's office.

Edmonson County will install the software on October 29th, Metcalfe County on October 31st, and Monroe County on November 1st.

Drivers are not required to obtain new licenses before current licenses expire.
