A Bowling Green company is bringing more money and more jobs to town.

Today Governor Steve Beshear announced Bando USA is investing more than seven-million dollars in the local economy, creating 15 new jobs.

Bando will add to its 103-thousand square-foot facility to accommodate a new manufacturing line.

Having been here more than 20 years, Bando will continue contributing to South Central Kentucky's economy.

"It's a great workforce. The people of Bowling Green here supply us with the opportunity to continue to grow. Their work ethic, their commitment to our company is really appreciated. So uh, Bando had many, we have plants throughout the world where this investment could have been made, and uh, what helped decide that is just the work ethic and the people here in Bowling Green," said Joe Laudadio.

Bando USA makes power transmission products for the automotive and industrial markets.

The expansion is expected to be completed by next September.
