Kentucky State Police say 35-year-old Rachel D. Sprouse of Bowling Green was southbound on highway 231 at 7:45 a.m. Thursday, when for unknown reasons she crossed the center line and went off the road in the 6000 block.
Sprouse's vehicle entered a residential yard and overturned, ejecting her. She was taken to the Medical Center where she succumbed to her injuries shortly before 8:30 a.m.
Troopers say Sprouse was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the collision, and alcohol does not appear to be a factor.
