CENTRAL CITY, Ky. (AP) — Kentucky State Police say an inmate in western Kentucky who walked away from a work release program is back in custody.
Trooper Stu Recke says 26-year-old Jesse A. Neal is charged with escape after disappearing from a work detail in Muhlenberg County on Sept. 13. He was being held in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center.
The Central City Police Department found Neal on Friday night.
Neal had been in custody for possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia
