Muhlenberg County Man Killed in Fiery Wreck

Kentucky State Police say 32-year-old David Blake of Belton was killed when his pickup veered into the northbound lane of U.S. 431 about 1/2 mile south of Central City at 8:25 a.m. Wednesday, striking a tractor-trailer coal truck head-on.
The empty coal truck, driven by 45-year-old Marty Garrett of Greenville, caught fire and came to rest in the roadway blocking both lanes of travel. Garrett was taken to the Muhlenberg Community Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
