BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- Beginning August 6, Graham Drive and Ragland Way in Bowling Green will experience significant periods of street closure due to a Public Works street reconstruction project.
Graham Drive will have the northbound lane closed to thru traffic, both night and day through August 13. For the same time period, Ragland Way from Graham Drive to Jenkins Drive will be completely closed. Detours will be posted. This will be Phase 1 of a two-phase project to be completed by Scotty's Contracting.
August 6 is also the first day of school for the city school system. The reconstruction will affect the Parker Bennett Curry Elementary School area at Graham and Webb Drive.
The second phase of the project is expected to start on Tuesday, August 13, with the southbound lane of Graham Drive to be closed from Ragland Way to Scott Way to thru traffic both night and day thru August 20. At the same time, Jenkins Drive will be completely closed from Ragland Way to Scott Way. Detours will be posted for these closures as well.
