Murder Attempt In An Apparent Road Rage Incident

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WBKO) -- A man has been charged with attempted murder in an apparent road rage incident.

The Knox County Sheriff's Office say 61 year old Rodney Lee Scott shot a motorcyclist multiple times yesterday afternoon.

Police say Scott cut off two motorcyclists who then began to follow him. The motorcyclists followed Scott home where he retrieved two guns and then began shooting at them.

23-year-old Tyler Lakin was hit three times in the back and once in the wrist. He was taken to the University of Tennessee Medical Center.

Scott is being held at the Knox County Detention Facility on a $1 million bond.
