BOWLING GREEN, KY (June 26, 2013) – Michael Sherrod has been named the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of HCA/ TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital. He replaces former CEO Mark Marsh.
Sherrod comes to Greenview from Coliseum Northside Hospital in Macon, Georgia where he has served as CEO since 2010. Prior to joining HCA, Sherrod served as a CEO for LifePoint Hospitals.
At Coliseum Northside Hospital, Sherrod managed many successful process improvement and customer service initiatives, launched new service lines such as spine and bariatric programs, developed strong physician relationships and supported the recruitment of primary care and specialty physicians.

Sherrod earned a Bachelor of Arts and business degree from Maryville College in Maryville, TN and a master’s degree in health administration from the Virginia Commonwealth University. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Sherrod will assume his new duties at TriStar Greenview August 1st.
