New Program Helps Senior Adults

Franklin, Ky. – The Senior Perspectives program is now available at The Medical Center at Franklin. Senior Perspectives addresses the mental health and well-being of older adults.

“We are the only outpatient behavioral health service in the Franklin area that specializes in meeting the counseling needs for senior adults,” said Jami Hughes, Director of Senior Perspectives. As people grow older, they may suffer through many losses such as losing a spouse, family members, friends, health, and sometimes respect from others and for themselves. The sense of loss can be overwhelming.

The Senior Perspectives program focuses on renewing the quality of life for senior adults. It operates on an outpatient basis and is staffed by a team of physicians, therapists, nurses and technicians.
The cost of the program is covered by Medicare and most secondary insurance health plans. Transportation may also be arranged.

Senior Perspectives is located in the Franklin Medical Plaza on The Medical Center at Franklin campus. For more information regarding admission into Senior Perspectives, call 270-598-4920 or visit
