BOWLING GREEN, KY- The City of Bowling Green Neighborhood Services Office has just released its 2012 Select Neighborhood Action Program (SNAP) Guidelines for the current grant cycle. An updated program booklet and application packet are now available online on the Neighborhoods page of the City's website at www.bgky.org.
Grant applications are due September 7. Since 1999, the City of
Bowling Green has invested more than $600,000 in Bowling Green neighborhoods through this popular mini-grant program for neighborhood organizations.
A training session providing detailed information for SNAP will be offered twice on Thursday, July 26 at the Bowling Green Police Department. "All About SNAP" will be offered in an afternoon session held from 3:00-4:30 p.m., with an evening session offered from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Potential attendees should pre-register by emailing karen.foley@bgky.org or calling (270) 393-3674 to insure availability.
