New Website Eases Student Transfers

FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) -- State officials are trying to make student transfers a little easier with a new website.

The KnowHow2 Transfer website is being launched this week. It's designed to promote a seamless student transfer from Kentucky Community and Technical College System campuses to four-year institutions, saving students time and money.

The website stems from 2010 legislation and is intended to show how courses will transfer and count toward four-year degree requirements.

The Council on Postsecondary Education and the state's public colleges and universities will launch the website at 2 p.m. EDT Wednesday at the council's offices in Frankfort.
