FRANKLIN, Ky. (AP) -- A southern Kentucky man charged with fatally stabbing a neighbor will face a jury in November.
Media reported that Simpson Circuit Judge Janet Crocker set the case of 40-year-old Jerry Huff of Franklin for Nov. 20.
Huff is charged with murder and tampering with physical evidence in connection with the Dec. 28 death of 53-year-old Phillip Allen.
Allen was stabbed in an altercation near his Rawls Avenue home and was taken to The Medical Center at Franklin. He identified Huff as the person who stabbed him.
Huff told police in an interview after his arrest that he had stabbed Allen after Allen had approached him on the street and confronted him.
