More than 13 hundred WKU students became graduates today.
Two commencement ceremonies were held to honor those obtaining their degrees.
The WKU spirit was alive in the students as they prepared to take their walk across the stage at Diddle Arena and prepared for the rest of their lives.
"I've already started my job that I went to school for. It took me a little but longer to go to school because I was working and everything, and I've got a family back home, so I'm just really excited to be out of here and start my life," said WKU Graduate Caleb Smithson.
In true WKU fashion, each graduate was given a red towel after accepting their diplomas.
The commencements also recognized the commissioning of seven Army graduates as second lieutenants.
