Over $500,000 Raised For St. Jude
South Central Kentucky showed its giving attitude over the past few months with this years St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway.
At the end of Sunday's Telethon a check was presented to St. Jude for just more than $500,000.
A total of about 5,300 tickets were sold for the Dream Home over the past several months.
Of course, all proceeds from ticket sales and Sunday's telethon go directly to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
"Every penny raised goes to St. Jude. We pay for everything from lodging, to meals, to transportation, all of the research and things we do at St. Jude we share freely across the world with other pediatric hospitals," says Paula Singer, Senior Event Marketing Rep. for St. Jude.
