Papa John's in Franklin Robbed

Franklin Police say at approximately 8:15 PM on Wednesday, Kentucky State Police received a call from Papa John's stating that it had just been robbed.

Police say the suspect walked into Papa John's, walked up to the counter, and demanded cash while threatening the employees. After being handed the cash, the suspect left on foot.

Franklin Police, Simpson County Sheriff's Office, and Kentucky State Police responded.

The suspect is described as white male, approximately 5'6" to 5'7", 140 pounds, and has a salt and pepper goatee.

The suspect had a black toboggan pulled over his face, wearing a heavy green jacket, and appeared to be in his 40's.
