Parents Use 9/11 Exhibit As Teaching Tool

Updated: Tue 6:23 PM, Aug 21, 2012

As the 11th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks approach, an exhibit in Bowling Green remembers that tragic day.

September 11: A Global Moment is at the National Corvette Museum now through the end of October.

A piece of the Pentagon, artifacts from firefighters, and a Port Authority Police Car are all in the exhibit that sheds light on a day many people will never forget.

"Everyone remembers where they were when they found out what was going on and so this exhibit brings back a lot of those memories and just a lot of feelings about the terrorist attacks and it's something that I highly recommend. It is unusual for us to get an exhibit like this," says Katie Frassinelli, Marketing Manager at the National Corvette Museum.

The museum says a lot of parents have been using the exhibit as a teaching tool for those too young to remember the attacks.
