LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Pieces of the basketball court where Louisville won the NCAA men's championship in the spring will be available for purchase at Saturday's scrimmage.
NCAA corporate sponsor Northwestern Mutual acquired the Georgia Dome floor to raise money for pediatric cancer research. The pieces have previously been sold online, and the company says sales have already been busy.
Prices start at $49.99 and range up to $499.99. The smallest piece is 6 inches by 2 ½ inches, while the largest is 18 inches by 13 inches and includes coach Rick Pitino's autograph.
The scrimmage starts at 4 p.m. EDT Saturday at the Yum Center.
