BRANDENBURG, Ky. (AP) -- Kentucky State Police say two adults and a teenager were found shot to death inside a central Kentucky home.

Trooper Jeffrey Gregory says 50-year-old Warren E. Tripp, his live-in girlfriend, 42-year-old Ellen Cain, and a 13-year-old boy whose name wasn't released were reported dead at the home at about 8 a.m. EST Friday. The house is about two miles from Otter Creek Outdoor Recreation Area in Meade County near Brandenburg.

Gregory says: "Right now, we're still calling it a death investigation. We do not feel that there is anyone at large in this investigation that is a threat to public safety."

Autopsies are scheduled for Saturday at the state medical examiner's office in Louisville.

The area is about 50 minutes southwest of Louisville.
