Police: Pizza Delivery Leads To Credit Card Scam

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) -- It wasn't the type of delivery that 23-year-old India Sanchez Hidalgo expected.

Instead of getting the two pizzas she ordered, Hidalgo got delivered to the Louisville jail Wednesday night and charged with credit card theft.

Louisville Metro Police spokeswoman Carey Klain told WLKY-TV (http://bit.ly/MpWERs ) that an alert manager at Papa John's suspected something wasn't right when Hidalgo tried several different sets of credit card numbers when placing an order for two pizzas.

Police said officers went to the address where the woman asked for delivery, carrying two empty pizza boxes. Officers said when they found Hidalgo in the home, she allowed them to search her purse.

Hildalgo is being held on $25,000 bond. Jail records did not list an attorney for Hidalgo.
