Police Say Meth Made In Home With Children

Police in Muhlenberg County have arrested two people for allegedly making meth while children were in the home.

It happened Friday night, police say 26-year-old Amy Utley and 27-year old Westley Bosworth were arrested after police found illegal drugs including an active meth lab in their home in Powderly, Kentucky.

Among the drugs found were Hydrocodone , Clonazepam and Marijuana.

Police say some of the pills were found hidden in a child's coat.

Three children were allegedly in the home when officers arrived and have been placed in the care of social services.

The two are being held in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center.
