PADUCAH, Ky. (AP) -- Paducah Police say the marijuana wasn't hard to spot in David Minnis' yard.
Sgt. George Johnson told The Paducah Sun (http://bit.ly/Q7o8OZ ) five plants were found growing "right in between the bell peppers and the watermelon" in a garden. Johnson said it could be seen from the street.
Minnis was charged Wednesday with cultivating marijuana. Another resident of the house, Tiffany Morris, was charged with complicity.
The bust came a day after police found an indoor growing operation in another part of town.
Johnson said in both cases, police either saw or smelled the marijuana plants.
