LOUISVILLE, KY. (AP) -- Construction is getting back into full swing this week around Louisville as Kentucky Derby activities close for another year.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says two projects on Interstate 65 will resume, and overnight Tuesday one lane of northbound I-71 will be closed.

The I-71 lane closure is scheduled from 8 p.m. EDT Tuesday until 6 a.m. Wednesday as crews work on barrier wall repairs at the Zorn Avenue overpass.

On I-65, the right southbound lane of the Kennedy Bridge will be closed until 8 p.m. Friday, with the entrance ramp from Court Avenue in Jeffersonville, Ind., closed. The exit ramp to I-64/I-71 will remain open.

Lane closures will also be in place along I-65 north of the Watterson Expressway to the Chestnut Street overpass, and some ramps will be closed.
