Prayer Room Dedicated At Hospitality House
A prayer room at The Hospitality House in Bowling Green is sporting a new name in a surprise dedication announced Monday.
Family and friend of Chaplain James Britt contributed to the Commonwealth Health Foundation to name the room the "James Chaplain Prayer Room".
The contribution comes after years of service and devotion in South Central Kentucky.
The Chaplain has no idea this dedication was coming.
"I really hardly knew what to say and was deeply moved. The people have been very gracious all the while I have been at The Medical Center. A lot of support and love," says Chaplain Britt.
The Hospitality House is for families of patients receiving care at The Medical Center.
Hospital officials say generous donations like the one Monday is what keeps the facility running.
